Presented in this collection of photographs and descriptive text are the sublime sceneries found within the islands of New Zealand. Jewel of the Pacific and the Last Great Paradise are names that still apply, even in these rapidly changing times, and it is doubtful whether any other country of comparable size can boast of the magnificent scenery that New Zealand can. It has, in fact, been described as one great national park, as those large areas of untamed, uninhabited country are New Zealand's greatest assets. My interest is in the drama of the natural world. It is apparent that I chose my time to acquire a particular quality of light, which adds to the visual excitement of my photographs.
