Thirty years after the gods reduced Tokyo to rubble, survivors set out to answer a seemingly impossible question—how do you kill a god? Just as Waka is getting her bearings with the Anti-God Research Institute, she and the other researchers are attacked by a massive snake god and Waka is abducted! Dragged away by disciples of the gods, she finds out that there’s an actual god living inside of her—one she has absolutely no control over. Meanwhile, Tokinaga feels himself drowning in guilt over a number of lives that were lost. His housemate Obikawa does his best to encourage him, but Tokinaga starts to question what he’s even doing with the institute at all…
