Hoffman, Alice
Alice Hoffman tem mestrado em Escrita Criativa pela Universidade de Stanford e é autora de mais de trinta obras de ficção, muitas delas premiadas e elogiadas pelo The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Los Angeles Times, Library Journal e People Magazine. Seus contos de ficção e textos de não ficção foram publicados pelo The New York Times, Boston Globe Magazine, Kenyon Review, Los Angeles Times, Architectural Digest, Harvard Review, Ploughshares e por outras revistas. Alice também trabalhou como roteirista e é autora do roteiro original do filme Independence Day. Seu romance adolescente Aquamarine foi transformado num filme estrelado por Emma Roberts. Seu best-seller Da Magia à Sedução, hoje um clássico cult, foi adaptado para o cinema e deu origem ao filme homônimo, estrelado por Sandra Bullock e Nicole Kidman.
