Twelve-year-old Caspen has been wandering in the woods for almost as long as he can remember. He is also the guardian of a magic necklace which grants him immortality. Then one day he meets Rebecca, a girl who has ties to a nearby town, and his life is changed immensely. However, being re-introduced to civilisation has its drawbacks. A dangerous gang is after his necklace, and will stop at nothing to get their way. Caught up in a death-or-glory game of epic proportions, will Caspen survive?
