A memoir of my young life. My family moves across the midwest and west on Route 66 to Oregon, Canada, and California. Experiencing a train wreck, a circumsision of four boys, stopping at a snake pit to see "The Princes of Air-A-Bee" Dance with fifty rattlesnakes. We go to Canada to witness a parade of naked Doukabors protesting World War II. The book is mostly funny. I take you through each school year, through boot camp, and then on to the pacific on Aircraft carriers and Higgins boat duty in Vietnam and South East Asia.
