The book in view endeavours to present the traditional and modern concepts of grammar and composition for the benefit of students and other language users. The urge for writing this book came, sequel to the poor performance of students in English language, both at internal and external examinations. This stems from the lack of adequate knowledge of the subject by majority of the students and non-availability of standard textbooks on the subject.
