This English second language series for Chinese students is suitable for students aged 13 and older. It has 30 pages that include 17 interactive videos, workbook exercises and a test. Step 1: This step has three parts. It deals with following directions of a neighborhood map to find one's way. The days of the week are taught. Some of the prepositions taught earlier are reviewed. Step 3: In this step there is a good conversation with lots of adjectives. The use of singular and plural is reviewed, as well as some prepositions. Step 4: In this step two friends are hiking in the mountains. This gives the opportunity for the student to see many useful adjectives in use. Step 5: This step has three parts, as well as a self marking test. A couple arranges to meet and spend a day together. They finish with an outdoor barbecue. New vocabulary about shopping, eating in a restaurant, walking in a park and a barbecue supper is included. The use of "some" and "any" is practiced.
