Let's all go to the Farm! Reproducible word and picture flash cards and a whole page of flash card fun and games introduce your students to the animals that live there. Next, staple the reproducible barn cover to sheets of blank paper and cut out to create a shape writing book. Have the students write and illustrate a page each day they learn about a new farm animal! The students can also color, cut and create their very own farm diorama complete with barn, animals and a fence to keep them in! (and count by ones, twos, fives, tens, or....) We have included a variety of farm animal figures that are put together with brads so that the heads and legs move. Great as story starters or to decorate the bulletin board! Your students become farmers by drawing in their own facial features and gluing the almost life-sized head to the cartoon body.
