Groom, Winston

Winston Groom nasceu nos Estados Unidos, em 1943. Após servir o exército e até lutar no Vietnã, trabalhou como repórter em Washington. Escreveu 16 livros, inclusive Forrest Gump, Forrest and Co., Patriotic Fire, Shrouds of Glory e Conversations with the Enemy (com Duncan Spencer), finalista do prêmio Pulitzer. Atualmente mora com a esposa e a filha em Point Clear, no Alabama.
