Recessed deep in the hills of West Virginia lies the bucolic little town of Crotch Cricket Creek. Founded in 1741 by Ezra Saltpounder the little community was for years home to moonshiners, poachers, river rats and other assorted good ol' boys.Then, about twenty years ago Katie came to town. Her history unknown, she opened a small cathouse catering at first to the locals. In time the enterprise grew. Katie and her girls gave more than lip service to her customers needs and the fame of her establishment soon spread throughout the state. Theme nights like Bowling for Booty Calls and Wheel of Kinkiness keep the customers coming.Katie's has a full service bar for before and after and every night is open mike. Customers can sing, do poetry readings or, of course, share jokes. Peter Urcock, the barkeep, has recorded the best jokes down through the years and Katie has passed them on to me to share with the world.So, by all means, laugh your nuts off and if you have the chance drop by Katie's sometime and learn a whole new meaning for Saturday Night Special.
