Brand, Dionne
Dionna Brand é poeta, ensaísta, romancista e documentarista nascida em Trinidad e Tobago, em 1953, e radicada no Canadá. É autora de mais de vinte livros e recebeu diversos prêmios, entre eles, o Toronto Book Award (2006 e 2019), o Blue Metropolis Violet Prize, o OCM Bocas Prize de ficção e o Windham-Campbell Prize de ficção em 2021. Em 2017, Brand foi nomeada para a Ordem do Canadá. De sua autoria, a Bazar do Tempo publicou ainda "Nenhuma língua é neutra" (2023), uma coletânea de poesia. |
