"Kira's Closet" is an 8 X11" children's book by celebrated artists Louise Napier that follows her granddaughter Kira as she experiences nature and life all around her. The book was published as part of the artist's exhibit "Fabrics to Fashion" at Wingate University where the artist celebrated nearly 50 years of teaching art. Using fabric inspired by her watercolor paintings, Napier has connected her granddaughter's adventures to a wardrobe of colorful, patterned clothing. The collection in 44 full-color pages is filled with a sky of colorful kites, various flowers, birds, autumn leaves, bunnies, shells, butterflies, bees, turtles, dragonflies, fireflies, and the wild skin patterns of zoo animals.
