Eugene H. Peterson (1932–2018) foi pastor, teólogo e escritor. Graduou-se pelo Seminário Teológico de Nova York e pela Universidade Johns Hopkins. Fundou a Igreja Presbiteriana Cristo Nosso Rei, onde exerceu o ministério por 29 anos. Foi docente em Teologia da Espiritualidade na Faculdade Regent, no Canadá.
