JOHN MARK COMER mora em Portland, Oregon, com sua esposa Tammy e três filhos — Jude, Moses e Sunday. É pastor de ensino e visão na Bridgetown Church, bem no centro da cidade. Sua igreja foi construída em torno da ideia bastante simples de seguir o caminho de Jesus, juntos, em Portland. Acredita que o caminho de Jesus é exatamente esse, um estilo de vida. Também é autor dos livros Viva Sem Mentiras, Loveology, Garden City e God Has a Name.
