When a United Nations Relief Crew airplane visits Cameroon to deliver aid in a terrible draught, Mikmoh becomes trapped on board while pretending to be a pilot. After a harrowing emergency landing, Mikmoh meets Miriam the Missouri field mouse and Rapavi the magpie. Together they attempt to save their new foreign friend from the thugs of the mouse town of Isadora and the creatures of Firefly Field.
