Mothcatcher has a lot of problems. His girlfriend Shannon broke up with him because he wasn't cool enough. Mothcatcher, a sophomore, hates high school and just about everything else in his life. And then there's the little matter of his nickname. He's had it forever and it sucks. And if that wasn't bad enough, it's Halloween (Mothcatcher's favorite night of the year) and even that is giving him grief. It seems like everybody else can handle growing up except him. This all takes a turn when Mothcatcher and his best friend, Halloween Costume, get invited to the biggest party of the year. Suddenly, Mothcatcher has a chance to have everything he wants. Or does he?
