Mandela, Nelson

NELSON MANDELA nasceu no clã Madiba em Transkei, África do Sul, em 18 de julho de 1918. Mudou-se para Johanesburgo em 1941 e se tornou um dos principais nomes na luta contra o apartheid. Em 1993 recebeu o prêmio Nobel da Paz e em 1994 tornou-se o primeiro presidente democraticamente eleito da África do Sul. Mandela morreu em 5 de dezembro de 2013.
