Valerie's poodle loves to chase squirrels, her brother loves to chase girls, and Valerie finds herself chasing after Dan Bright, the new guy at school, who apparently only has eyes for Gloria Tidwell, a gorgeous teen-age model. Dan joins the dog training class to be near Valerie, he says, but this doesn't make sense to her when he ignores her at school. What is the relationship between Gloria and Dan?
