The heart-warming story of friendship and love between a young girl and a Pug named Raisin she rescues from the animal shelter. The story begins with Raisin purchased as a pup from the pet store. Raisin develops a special bond with a young boy named David who is also called "DUMB DAVID" because he can't read like all the others.
