JASON MATTHEWS é ex-integrante da Diretoria de Operações da CIA, o atual Serviço Clandestino de Defesa. Em 33 anos de carreira, ele serviu em muitos postos no exterior, dedicando-se à coleta de informações de inteligência, sobretudo em países hostis. Conduziu operações de recrutamento no Leste Europeu soviético, na Ásia Oriental, no Oriente Médio e no Caribe, chefiou estações em diversas localidades, gerenciou ofensivas em países produtores de armas de destruição em massa e colaborou com nações estrangeiras em missões antiterroristas. Operação Red Sparrow foi seu primeiro livro e venceu o Edgar Allan Poe de Melhor Primeiro Romance. Atualmente o autor mora no sul da Califórnia. |
