Faber, Michel
Michel Faber é autor de outros oito livros. Em 2000, lançou o primeiro, Sob a pele, que ganhou uma adaptação cinematográfica e foi finalista do prêmio Whitbread, mas foi com seu quarto título, Pétala escarlate, flor branca, que se tornou internacionalmente conhecido. Também é autor de The Fire Gospel e além de duas novelas, The Hundred and Ninety-Nine Steps e The Courage Consort. Faber tem vários prêmios como contista, entre eles o Neil Gunn, Ian St. James e o Macallan. Hoje, seus livros já foram publicados em 35 países e venderam mais de 2 milhões de exemplares. Nascido na Holanda, criado na Austrália, atualmente vive na Escócia. |
