Ten-year-old Hailee has not been this nervous about anything since she found her diary moved from its hiding place. But this is even worse. When she pranced out of the house that morning, she had no idea that Mrs. Hofferman would give a pop quiz. No idea that she would get caught cheating. No idea that her wicked little brother, Junior, would find out about it, and certainly no idea that he would make it his duty to ensure she is tortured by the risk of Mom and Dad discovering her not-so secret, secret. To top that off, her best friend now hates her because of the incident, and she's afraid to go back to school. What is a girl to do? Hide the evidence? Come clean? Run away? Change schools?
