G. Willow Wilson nasceu em Nova Jersey, em 1982. Sua carreira como escritora teve início aos 17 anos, enquanto ela estudava na Boston University (BU), e realizava trabalhos como crítica musical para o jornal Boston's Weekly Digg. Após concluir sua formação em História e o curso de língua e literatura árabe, Willow mudou-se para o Cairo, onde se tornou a primeira escritora do Oriente a entrevistar Sheikh Ali Gomaa, atual Mufti do Egito e um dos mais influentes clérigos do Islã Moderno. |
