Couto, Mia
MIA COUTO nasceu em 1955, na Beira, Moçambique. Foi jornalista e professor, e é, atualmente, biólogo e escritor, com mais de trinta livros, entre prosa e poesia. Seu romance Terra sonâmbula é considerado um dos dez melhores livros africanos do século XX. Recebeu uma série de prêmios literários, entre eles o Prêmio Camões de 2013, o mais prestigioso da língua portuguesa, e o Neustadt Prize de 2014. É membro correspondente da Academia Brasileira de Letras. |
