Serres, Michel
Michel Serres nasceu em Agen, no sul da França, em 1930. Filósofo, com formação em matemática e física, serviu na Marinha entre 1956 e 1958. Juntamente com Michel Foucault, lecionou em Clermont-Ferrand. Professor da Sorbonne e da Universidade de Stanford, é membro da Academia Francesa. Nos anos 70, foi professor visitante na Escola de Comunicação e Artes (ECA) da USP. Autor de mais sessenta livros, entre os quais Tempo de crise, Polegarzinha e O contrato natural, escreveu inúmeros ensaios filosóficos e de história das ciências e títulos que abordam temáticas variadas como literatura, estética, antropologia, aproximação entre as ciências, relações do homem com a natureza e desafios da educação. |
