The 4 - COLOR LESSONS in Volume 2 of the 4 - COLOR LESSONS Series were developed to meet the needs of students in Grade Levels 4 to 6 - Students Reading to Learn. The books in the 4 - COLOR LESSONS Series are designed for individual or small group instruction, and are ideal for Home-School settings. Sixteen lesson plans are provided as examples of 4 - COLOR LESSON Planning. These 4 - COLOR LESSONS present and emphasize some of the Preferences and Strengths that each COLOR brings to that particular learning event. In this way all of the learners can experience several strengths of each of the Color Styles in a safe, non-judgmental learning environment. The first eight (8) 4 -COLOR LESSONS of Volume 2, present FICTION - Color Styles - Reading Preferences: ORANGE = Explorers/Adventure Fiction - Focus on Individual; BLUE = Romance/Fantasy - Focus on Relationships; GOLD = Realistic/Historical Fiction - Focus on Families; GREEN = Science Based/Science Fiction - Focus on Individual or events. The student readers will discover that the classics and other well written stories contain elements from all of the Color Styles preferences. With 4 - COLOR LESSONS the readers are introduced to Literary Genre and styles that they most likely would not choose if left to only their preferences. The 4 - COLOR LESSONS nine (9) through sixteen (16) present Color Styles - Biography Reading Preferences: ORANGE = Competitors who overcame great odds to win, such as Olympic athletes, rock stars, and great adventurers; BLUE = Caretakers of humans and animals, spiritual people, movie stars, and individuals who overcame obstacles to continue their lives; GOLD = Historical figures, well respected people, and individuals serving in traditional roles in society such as farmers and police personnel; GREEN = Intellectuals, innovators, philosophers, and scientists who explore theoretical concepts.
