Visiting distant lands has always held a great fascination for the author. This story is set in the beautiful state of Oregon. Each state has its own uniqueness with its own cast of characters. Each one also has its own lessons to teach, if one would but listen and learn. The author has always loved writing, but her life weaved across many paths before reaching a place where writing could be prioritized. She feels fortunate to have spent much of her life serving children in the public schools in Arizona.
