Hutton, Ronald
Ronald Hutton (1953) é historiador e pesquisador nascido na Índia e criado na Inglaterra. Graduou-se em Cambridge e depois em Oxford, e obteve uma bolsa no Magdalen College antes de ir para a Universidade de Bristol, em 1981, onde é professor ainda hoje. Ronald Hutton é autoridade em história das Ilhas Britânicas nos séculos XVI e XVII, contexto global das crenças da bruxaria, paganismo antigo e magia, tendo escrito cerca de catorze livros sobre estes assuntos. Além disso, Hutton participou de documentários e programas de rádio, como A Very British Witchcraft e Professor Hutton's Curiosities, ambos de 2013, entre outros. |
