Vonnegut, Kurt
Kurt Vonnegut nasceu em 1922 no estado de Indiana, nos Estados Unidos. Ainda jovem, alistou-se no exército e lutou na Segunda Guerra Mundial, onde presenciou bombardeios e até foi feito prisioneiro pelos alemães.
Depois de voltar para os Estados Unidos, dedicou-se à literatura e, ao longo de mais de 40 anos, publicou 14 romances e diversos contos, peças de teatro e contos de não ficção, incluindo o romance best-seller Matadouro 5. Vonnegut faleceu em 2007. |
