Camilleri, Andrea
Andrea Camilleri nasceu em Porto Empedocle, na Sicília, em 1925. Estudou literatura, trabalhou com teatro e televi¬são e lecionou Direção de Filmes na Aca¬demia Nacional de Artes Dramáticas. Em 1978, lançou seu primeiro romance, Il corso dele cose. Doze anos depois, publicou La stagione della caccia, que foi um êxito de vendas. Em 1994, lançou A forma d’água (L&PM, 2021), o primeiro de quase 40 livros com as investigações do comissário Salvo Montalbano, que experimentaram sucesso internacional. O autor recebeu inúmeros prêmios e láureas, e também publicou outros mais de vinte romances. Faleceu em 2019. |
