Neuvel, Sylvain
SYLVAIN NEUVEL saiu da escola aos quinze anos. Desde então, foi jornalista, trabalhou em descontaminação do solo, vendeu sorvete na Califórnia e correu o Canadá vendendo móveis. É Ph.D em linguística pela Universidade de Chicago. Foi professor de linguística na Índia e engenheiro de software em Montreal. Também é tradutor juramentado, mas o que queria mesmo era ser astronauta. Gosta de consertar eletrodomésticos e de mexer com robótica e é meio obcecado com o Halloween. Também é completamente apaixonado por brinquedos. Como a namorada quer convencê-lo de que tem brinquedos demais, escreve sobre alienígenas e robôs gigantes como desculpa esfarrapada para construir bonecos militares (para o filho, é claro). |
