Murata, Sayaka
SAYAKA MURATA nasceu em 1979 em Inzai, na província de Chiba, próxima a Tóquio. Fã de mangás e ficção científica, desde a infância já escrevia histórias. Seu romance de estreia QUERIDA KONBINI (Estação Liberdade, 2018) — que já vendeu mais de 1 milhão de exemplares em todo o mundo — rendeu-lhe o prêmio Akutagawa em 2016. Antes, havia recebido os prêmios Gunzo e Noma, em 2003 e 2009, ambos voltados para novos escritores, e o prêmio Yukio Mishima, em 2013.Os temas abordados por ela costumam se relacionar à não conformidade dentro da sociedade japonesa nas relações de gênero, trabalho e na sexualidade, muitas vezes incorporando aspectos distópicos ou de horror.
