GEORGE SAUNDERS nasceu em Amarillo, no Texas, em 1958. Estudou escrita criativa na Universidade de Syracuse, trabalhou como redator técnico de uma empresa de engenharia ambiental e, em 2006, recebeu a prestigiosa bolsa da MacArthur Fellowship. Dele, a Companhia das Letras publicou o volume de contos Dez de dezembro (finalista do National Book Award e ganhador do Folio Prize) e o romance Lincoln no limbo, vencedor do Man Booker Prize. |
