As a seventeen year-old senior at Palisades High School in Palisades, Colorado, Caleb Sutton has everything going for him. He's popular, good looking, gets good grades, plays sports (Bulldogs took state in football championships this year), and he has a happy home life. Things couldn't be better. When classes begin, Caleb is partnered up with Evangeline "Evie" Drake for their AP Biology class.
