MARY LYNN BRACHT concluiu seu mestrado em escrita criativa no Birkbeck College da Universidade de Londres, onde vive. Com ascendência coreana, a autora foi criada nos Estados Unidos e fez parte uma grande comunidade de mulheres que viveram na Coreia do Sul durante o pós-guerra. Em 2002, ao visitar o vilarejo da infância de sua mãe, Bracht conheceu as “mulheres de consolo”. Herdeiras do mar é seu romance de estreia. |
