Arun Gandhi nasceu em 1934 e é o quinto neto de Mohandas K. Gandhi. Ele foi jornalista do Times of India por mais de trinta anos e também escreveu para The Washington Post. É autor de Legacy of Love, Grandfather Gandhi, entre outros.
